Introduction
In 1988 I had my first experience with God speaking. I was in a world where people either were unaware that God could speak to us, or where people believed that God stopped speaking after the Apostles died. Several times during the summer, a voice awakened me in the night and instructed me to pray, or open the Bible to selected passages. Out of these experiences I received the gift of tongues (which I had not believed in), and a call to ministry.

In the coming years, I would experience a sense of God speaking, but rarely understood how to deal with it. God directed me into a denomination that was quickly becoming apostate. In this environment, I learned about the prophetic calling, and experienced the “furnace of affliction.” I also attended a Christian college, and seminary. The time between 1988 and today has largely been a time of education and preparation in the call God placed on my life.

In mid 2004, after going through a deep personal crisis, my priest and pastor Father Al Durrance gave me some advice that changed me life: “Listen to the Lord, and do what he tells you.” That simple practice of spending time learning to listen to God was for me a means of survival. At the time I was fighting a losing battle with drug addiction, same-sex attraction, and HIV infection. As I began to listen to God, and to the best of my ability, obey God’s directions, my life changed dramatically. As God’s voice became more clear, He began to share with me more than I asked. What follows is a collection of that revelation.

I have been asked several times how this revelation has come to me. It has come primarily in three ways. Often, it has come in the form of a mental picture—a very clear strong daydream. Second it has come through the “still small voice” of the Lord. Like the pictures, it has been a strong train of thought. Third, it has come through full out visions and unusual events.

Some of the words God has given me I have included in the book The Glory of a Wasted Life. The most dramatic part of this revelation came in the form of a visitation by an angel. Although I will not include the content of that experience here, I will include some of the information the Lord gave to me through the angel.

In the summer of 2006, after a period of great struggle, I came to embrace living a life of faith. In other words, not working a conventional job and depending on God for my provision and supply. I heard God calling me to a life of faith twice before, in 1998 and 2001. Both times I was discouraged from this by church leadership and both times I went into a season of severe difficulty. The previous period of disobedience is what led me to the crisis I experienced in 2004. I include this information because I believe that choosing to live a life of faith and trust in God is part of the overall message that God is speaking to the church. No matter how things appear, Fear not. God can be trusted, and the events unfolding are part of a larger plan for this time in history.

The House
In the summer of 2005, God directed me to begin praying for a house. I prayed for a house daily until November 11, 2005. On that day, I was asked to help a member of my church who had Parkinson’s disease. That night God told me that I was in the house for which I had been praying.

This house was a once glorious arts and crafts style mansion that had fallen into disrepair. The walls were crumbling and the paint was peeling. They house was full of garbage, and the furniture had been chewed by rats. The house was owned by a woman who had once been the daughter of a prominent family in Akron, Ohio. She had been the mistress of an attorney in Akron, and eventually they purchased this house. She lived with her son, who had advanced Parkinson’s disease. For many years she refused medical treatment for her son, so the disease progressed rapidly. It was not safe for either of them to live there.

Over the next several months I stayed in the house three times. During this time, I believed that I was praying for the house to use as a center of ministry to artists and creative people. I now know that the house was a larger metaphor for the church.

The Lord gave me a word regarding the house in mid 2006. At that time the Lord said that the house represented the church. She is a once grand lady, living in the house of desolation, raising an illegitimate disabled son.

As my team and I prayed for the house, the Lord began to show us a number of things. In a vision, we saw the house begin to be filled with worshipers. As the house was filled with worship, it began to repair itself. The walls, the roof, and the broken windows were healed, and angels began descending and ascending on the house.

In another vision, I was in the house. The ceiling was covered with gold. At that time, the Lord told me that the house would be known as an embassy of heaven.

The last night that I stayed in the house, the angel that visited me repeatedly in 2006 appeared to me while I was with my team, and actually passed through a wall out of the room. Since that time the house has been empty, awaiting foreclosure.

The events coming to the world are about the church. The church is in a state of disrepair, but God is about to transform her into an embassy of heaven, the center of heaven’s reign in the earth.

The vision of fires

Beginning in 2006 the Lord gave me and members of my team the word “Conflagration.”
In the summer of 2006, God gave me a vision of fires as I drove through Upstate New York. The word that accompanied this vision was “I will make these hills sing again.”
I saw a fire begin to burn across the northeastern United States. It began with sparks, but then spread across the area that once was impacted by the First and Second Great Awakenings (Southern New England, and Central and Western New York). As the fire spread (it looked like a grass fire) it began to travel along the major highways. It traveled west first, to Cleveland. Once a small fire began in Cleveland, the fire traveled south along I-71 to Columbus, then to Dayton, then South along I-75 to Lexington, Knoxville, Atlanta, and finally, Tampa, Florida. In the meantime, the fire continued to grow in intensity in the Northeast. Unlike the western part of the fire, this fire was spreading out of control from town to town out of Boston. It traveled along the Eastern Seaboard and the fire looked like white hot centers of burning. Finally, the fire traveled down the Hudson to New York City (the fire by this time had consumed most of the Eastern Section of the United States). Once the fire hit New York, it shot out like missiles across the earth, especially to Western Europe.

In the meantime, the fires continued to grow in intensity around Boston. Out of the light of the white hot furnace around Boston, a rainbow emerged. The rainbow stretched toward the east, and eventually ended in Jerusalem, and a bridge of light and fire began to connect Jerusalem and Boston.

There’s a sound coming over the mountains
It’s the sound of the redeemed
It’s the sound of children and fathers
And the sound of a soul that is clean.
And the Lamb will be our shepherd.

The word of the Lord at the end of the vision of the fires was “I will rekindle a love of freedom in their hearts.”

The vision of the war.
Following the vision of the fires, I began to have a vision of a coming war. This war would immediately follow the fires. A foreign invader would attack the United States. Although God did not show me the actual nation, it was clear that the army was a nation or coalition of nations from Asia. The attack would move West to East, and eventually the United States would fall. These foreign nations would completely occupy the United States for a time, but would be unable to subdue it.

Eventually, the eastern half of the country would throw off the foreign oppressor. This was because the freedom ignited in the fire. They felt empowered to rise up against the invaders. The western half of the country would no longer be free, and the Mississippi river would form a boundary between the two countries. The Lord made it clear that what made the difference between the two was the response to the fires. The west, choosing a false form of freedom, and a love for sin would no longer be free. The east would be free because of a love of freedom, going back to the American Revolution.

I saw cities of refuge in the midst of the occupation. Kansas City, MO; Akron, OH, and possibly one in Northern California. These would be centers of safety, protection, and supernatural provision. God is raising up Josephs for this time to be prepared, and to care for the people. There will be a wave of refugees, moving west to east as the armies invade. They will take nothing more than what they can carry.

The war and invasion are not primarily a judgment, but a realignment. Through it the wealth of the earth would be redistributed and transferred. There will be a purging of certain cities and industries. It will also cause the foreign invader to be confronted with a free and dynamic church. They will be confronted with miracles, supernatural activity, and men and women who operate out of the Kingdom. Many of these invaders will become Christians, and their living, dynamic faith will be taken back to their nations. As this happens, their home nations will begin to be radically converted. This war is a precursor to the return of Christ, and once these nations are converted, the Lord will return.

The Vision of Jerusalem
I saw Jesus standing on the temple mount. He was wearing royal robes, and was surrounded by artists, musicians, and dancers, and they were ministering unto him, and speaking out his royal decrees. There was no temple, but the Dome of the Rock was gone. He was the center and the focus of the worship in Jerusalem. There were beautiful banners, and there were angels present with the men and women. Jesus was also being covered by various television networks.

The Cataclysm
In August of 2006 I heard the word “cataclysm.” This word was accompanied by a time of unusual angelic activity for me and my team. An event, or series of events is coming that will radically restructure and redefine the Church. There will no longer be a “Protestant” or “Catholic” church. There will be one Church, centered in Jesus. Major doctrinal errors of the various churches will be purged. The monuments and beauty of the various parts of the church will be retained. The wealth of nations, the arts, and the churches of the Roman Catholic Church will be preserved, as part of the inheritance of the Body of Christ. The role of Mary in the church will be radically transformed, and a new understanding God’s economy will emerge during this period. There will also be churches and leaders whom God will actively war against, who are resistant to his reign. Some of this has already begun, and it will increase.

During this time, there will be a bridging of eras. This will be the end of the government of man, and the beginning of the government of God on the earth.

There are people alive today who will live into the next era. There will be an increase of what we now call the supernatural. There will be an increase of understand that will change how men and women interact with the world. There will be the increase of unusual miracles. Men will begin to fly, and people will learn to travel through time and space. There will also be an increase in life spans, with men and women living for hundreds of years.

House of Eli Word

There are no longer any limitations.
Like the elephant that was chained to a post, you have believed that you were limited to what you could or could not do. There are no chains, and there is no limitation.
You can step into your destiny.

The generation of the sons of Eli has ended.

I am about to begin a second American Revolution.
This revolution will restore God’s first intention for America.
This intention was usurped by false gods and false religion.
There is dry tinder in New England.
It is about to burst into a raging fire throughout North America.

It will be marked by
Vital spirituality
Sound theology
Signs, Wonders, and Miracles
The Government of God.

Ted Kennedy is a sign of the end of the government of man.
He marks the end of the reign of the sons of Eli–
The end of doing what seems right in one’s own eyes.

The death of Ted Kennedy will usher in the release of a new spirit of freedom and liberty.
This will mark the end of resistance to the government of God.

New Righteousness
New Justice
New Order
New Freedom

The Holy Spirit will begin to move in Massachusetts.
There will be an open heaven over Boston Common.
Mass meetings will begin to happen on the Boston Common.
Apostate Churches will return to orthodox faith.
There will be new songs, and a revival of culture.
This will spread up and down the east coast.

Lakeland is a foreshadowing.
It is only a tremor.
The real shaking has yet to come.
This shaking will be a 7.0 on the Richter Scale.
Everything that can fall will.
The generation of the sons of Eli will be buried alive in the rubble.
And no one will search or rescue.

Fallen, fallen is the house of Eli!
Never to rise again.

Fallen, fallen is the house of Kennedy!
Never to rise again.

A new American Revolution has begun.

The Clintons will fade from the public view, never to return.
The spiritual power that supports them is defeated.

There are still many surprises in the national election, and another candidate may emerge.
A dark horse candidate whom no one expects.

Media will not decide the election, or determine the issues.
God’s agenda for the fall
God’s agenda for the fall

Surprise turn of events in August.
Hear a lion roar in August.
Not a political revolution
Not a sexual revolution
But a spiritual revolution

Rather than assassinations, we will see resurrections.

Eli’s sons will be forgotten and ignored.
Their churches will close and their kingdoms will fall.
I will hasten this process and speed their demise.
Because they have profaned my name among the nations nor feared me.
Therefore I shall destroy them
Even as a new generation rises to supplant them.
Neither a Samuel,
Nor a Saul,
But I am raising up my David generation.
These worshipping warriors will restore my fallen tent and offer right sacrifices.
Even as the Elies, Jesses, and Sauls have attempted to deny and kill them
They will rise with healing in their wings.

There will be songs and dancing
There will be songs in the night.

There is a new American Revolution coming.
Behold and see that it has begun.

The vision of Waves
On August 8, 2008 I saw a vision of waves.
The first wave was small, it was like a typical wave at the beach. People ran out and began to play in the wave. It quickly crested and faded, and the people stopped playing, and returned to the beach.

After some time, another wave emerged, it was moving west to east out of California. This wave was much more impressive. It was like the waves one sees in Hawaii. People were able to ride this wave, and many were riding it. As this wave began to increase and move across the United States, it increased and began to crest.

Suddenly, out of the East, a much large, much more dramatic wave began to emerge. I hear the word “TSUNAMI.” As this wave moved, people ran in terror. It’s power changed everything in it’s path. Eventually, the Westward wave crashed into the Eastern wave. Some who were riding the Westward wave were thrown from it, because they were riding it for their own ends. Others lept from that wave onto the other wave. There were men and women riding the Tsunami as well. Actually, they were standing on it, and walking around. It was the floor that they walked on. Behind this wave was destruction and transformation. Things were clean in places. Other places were devastated. Clearly, everything behind the Tsunami was changed. Nothing was the same.

The first wave is the Lakeland outpouring. It rose and fell quickly, and was a sign of things to come, but relatively safe.

There will be those who understand and will recognize the third wave, and they will be able to leap from one to the other. Others will be completely overwhelmed, and possibly drown in the waves.

The third wave is a wave that will be coming from New England. It will be coming up and out of subterranean springs, almost as vertical jets of water. Once this flood emerges, it will begin to move and overcome all in its path.

A time of Preparation
The Lord told me in early 2007 that the next seven years would be a time of preparation for the coming events. There are many in the church who have heard this word. I believe that God is giving many leaders the wisdom to be prepared for the events that are coming. This is a time of transition in human history. At the same time, God is allowing events to take place that will set the stage for his return.
